The Emergency Medical Services have once again reached the semi finals for the Centrum Guardian Awards competition.
EMS’ Keri Davids said it recognises emergency workers who go beyond the call of duty.
She added that they won in 2010.
Davids said this year a team of 14 ambulance and rescue personnel and seven Stellenbosch fire and rescue employees have been nominated for the endurance section of the competition.
She added that their hard work was identified on a tough structural collapse scene that took place in August last year.
