Illegal School Admission Fees

Parents who have been spending thousands of rands paying for school admission fees, may have been doing so in vain.

The Western Cape Education Department confirmed that it is illegal for schools to do so. 

The Department’s Paddy Atwell said this is not allowed at state-funded schools and incidents like these should be reported.
