Johannesburg police are investigating the murder of four people, including a teenage girl, in Kew in Marlboro.
Spokesperson Katlego Mogale says five people were warming themselves around a brazier in the Mimosa informal settlement when two men approached and fired shots at them.
Four were killed and a wounded survivor is being treatment in hospital.
Mogale says the motive for Monday night’s killings is not known.
