Khayelitsha held a Saftey Seminar on Saturday the seminar dealt with major community safety issues regarding Vigilante/Mob Justice, Gang Violence and Xenophobic attacks.

In recent weeks there has been many reported incidents relating to violence in and around communities all over the Western Cape.

But Community Police Forums believe that there is exaggerated reporting by inactive organisations in community policing processes.

These organisations including Social Justice Coalition misrepresent the stakeholders in their interaction with the media and the Premier of the Western Cape, Helen Zille.

This seminar seeks to engage SAPS, Metro Police and Department of Community and Safety in dealing with crime prevention.
