The Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism in the Western Cape had a tourism indaba on Monday.
The national department of tourism, the SA tourism agency and all local governmental and provincial role players were invited.
The MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde said they discussed various issues around tourism in the province.
Winde says his goal is to up our game and become more competitive, to make sure that we as a region tackle tourism head on as a key part of our economy.
