The continuous rain in the Western Cape has led to flooding of many roads in Cape Town .
The Disaster Risk Management Centre Spokesperson Wilfred Johannes Solomons says Disaster Management together with the Engeneering Services and Law Enforcement Agenceis are deployed in various areas in the City to ensure the safety of the people.
Johannes Solomons said that earlier today an evacuation order was decleared for the River Club in Observatory as a result of rising water levels.
He further said about 29 sites have reported to have been affected,and the areas experiencing flooding include Rondebosch, Bonteheuwel and Crawford.
He added that the residents in those area are urged to stay clear and to leave the surounding areas.
