South Africa has established their position on the continued violence in Syria.
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation’s spokesperson Clayson Monyela said SA deplores continuing violence in Syria.
He added that their priority is to stop the killing and end the killing of innocent victims.
Monyela said that they are calling for an end to the violence.
He also said talks need to begin between Syrian-led political transitions reflecting the will of the Syrian people.
