Security guard was injured in an armed robbery

A security guard was injured during an armed robbery at Makro in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

Media reports revealed that four men entered the store on Friday afternoon and hit the guard over the head with a gun.

The police Spokesperson November Filander said the men took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a Honda Ballade.

Filander said that no arrest have been made so far.
