Seven men rescued after being snowed in

The City’s Disaster response teams whilst on board the SA Defence Force helicopter rescued 7 men from Matjiesfontein.

Wilfred Solomons Johannes of the Disaster Risk Mangement team explained the men were snowed in at their farms.

Two other boys aged 15 and 19 from Eerste Rivier who were also visiting the farming area at the time has been rescued.
