Somali-owned spaza shops were looted and torched on Tuesday.
Allegedly members within the Valhalla Park community both women and children, took turns to demolish Somali-owned property in the area.
Nine people have been arrested in connection with the violence.
It’s said that now most of the Somalians who have been targeted have left.
Valhalla Park Councillor, Nas Abrahams said that it was sad to see and that such behaviour is unacceptable.
