An accident in Steynrus left two people seriously injured this afternoon after a bakkie and a truck collided.

Netcare 911`s Jeffrey Wicks said the common cause of the information suggest that the truck had been crossing between two farm roads when it turned onto the Steynrus Road.

Wicks say that after the collision the Bakkie skidded to a halt onto the road side.

He added that both occupants were treated at the scene and transported to a nearby Hospital.
