Students in the city have been warned of an armed robbery gang operating near a university campus, Western Cape police said on Friday.

Reportedly three University of Cape Town students had been targeted while walking in Claremont, Rondebosch and Mowbray this week.

Police’s Captian FC van Wyk said three men have been linked to the reported cases and that an investigation is underway.

He added that anyone with information should contact the police.
