Thousands of people joined the parade in the streets of Durban CBD ON Monday to honour and bid farewell to the newly elected AU Commission Chairperson and Minister of Home Affairs Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.
Dlamini Zuma called upon all women to participate actively in the economy and challenged them to make a mark and to strive for leadership roles.
Dlamini Zuma also praised the ANC Women's League for grooming her to be the leader that she is today.
She added that her new position places responsibility upon women to be agents of change for the emancipation of women.
