Solidarity is preparing to start a public campaign against Woolworths at today if the group does not withdraw job advertisements that says only black candidates will be considered.

Solidarity Deputy General Secretary Dirk Hermann said they demanded that the group amends its advertisements so that people of all race groups will be considered.

Herman also said they sent a letter to the group and they gave them until midday today.

He further said the employment equity act does not allow that certain groups of people be excluded.
