South African NGO play a vital role in the development of Africa

International Relations and Cooperation Deputy Minister Marius Fransman will deliver a keynote address at a session on Development and Humanitarian Assistance in Africa.  

This is organised by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation.

South Africa’s role in the development of Africa has, through the years, gained prominence.

Nelson Kgwethe said the focus will be on development.

Kgwetle also said that there has been an increase in the number of South African NGO`s giving aid in African countries.

He added that aid was provided to countries affected by political instability and those that were hit by disasters.
