KZN: Two dagga dealers arrested at Golela Border

Two suspects were arrested for being in possession of dagga while crossing the Golela Border Post.

North West Police Spokesperson Jay Naicker said they will continue to make sure that those who transport drugs from other countries to South Africa are caught and arrested. 

The two a man and a woman are expected to appear in court soon.

Naicker added that the members made the first arrest on Friday, 7 June 2013 when they saw a suspicious man entering the border from Swaziland.he was carrying a bag and when they  searched they found more bags carrying 4.14kg of loose dagga to the street value of R6 000.  

Naicker futher said on Monday, 10 June 2013 Police arrested a woman with a 8.7kg of dagga to the street value of R5 420.
