WC gov collaborate to increase province’s European market share

Western Cape MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde, said provincial government is set to collaborate with the Dutch agricultural industry to grow the local agro-processing sector and increase the province’s market share in Europe.

Winde said the partnership was one of the links forged during his official trade and investment mission to The Hague in the Netherlands last week.

Winde added that their exports to the Netherlands are about R140 million a year.

Winde further added that one of the major things they have discussed is how they add value to the Western Cape and boost the space in the economy.
