WC Government plans to take legal action against Andile Lili

The Western Cape government said it is considering criminal charges following the dumping of human waste at the entrance of the provincial legislature allegedly by African National Congress Youth League members. 

The incident took place on Monday morning.

The act has been described as disgusting by the provincial government. 

Spokesperson to Premier Helen Zille’s, Zak Mbhele said one of the people has been identified to be Andile Lili the ANC Youth League activist and he has just been dismissed from the City Council a few weeks ago for misconduct.

Mbhele further said they are still in contact with legal advisors to find out what criminal charges to pursue against these members.

He added that they will ensure that there are strong consequences as a result of this.
