Danny Jordaan has broken 100 days of promises- DA

The Democratic Alliance’s Athol Trollips said that Nelson Mandela Bays mayor Danny Jordan had failed to deliver on his promises. Trollip, who made his comments on Friday said that Jordaan’s  first 100 days were filled with endless scandals.

“The first obstacle we had to negotiate was the suspension of two senior officials of Mr Roland Williams for communications and the municipal manager, and their response to that has been offer the Municipal Manager a golden handshake.”

“Now that is the fifth Municipal Manager since 2000 that is given a golden handshake by this municipality and that hardly speaks to dealing with corruption and maladmistration in a conservative manner.”
