The mediation process between the pavement dwellers and the city of Cape Town is underway in Symphony Way near Delft.
This follows the decision by the Cape High Court last week after hearing both sides.
The Judge ordered that there must be a mediation process that needs to end with a solution.
Ashraf Cassiem from the anti eviction campaign today there are discussing the court order that orders the two parties to agree on meaningful engagement before the case comes back in court next week.
The residents are opposing to be moved to the ‘Blikkiesdorp” which the city says is the temporary relocation area.
