A woman and a child have been killed by an oncoming train in Nyanga this morning.
It is alleged that 22 year old Nomveliso Blayi and 6 year old Zimkhitha Blayi from Joe Slovo,Langa were trying to cross the railway tracks when they were hit by the train.
Police spokesperson Inspector November Filander says police have opened an inquest case-docket to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
