North West Premier Thandi Modise on Thursday reported that the Risk Management Unit in the office of the Premier has been rated as excellent by the Department of Performance Monitoring and Evaluation in the Presidency.

Premier Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said the Premier committed that the department will strive to strengthen its financial management system.

He added that they will enhance internal controls in order to maintain the status call.

He further said the department has requested access to the Cipro data base to ensure that government officials do not do business with the office of the Premier by linking the data base to its supply chain management process.
