According to an international travel survey three Cape Town hotels have been ranked as the best in Africa.

MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde said these awards will hopefully encourage more international visitors to Cape Town.

Winde said that this is very good news, the world of tourism is a very competitive place and it shows that the service levels of the Cape Town hotels are really great and it sets the benchmark.

He added that if as a province we want to be competitive in this global tourism market we must be delivering great service and good value.

“Well done to these hotels,” Winde added.
