The Western Cape MEC of Health, Theuns Botha, opened a new tomography unit at Tygerberg Hospital on Friday that signals an additional R6.1 million investment in cancer treatment for patients.

This is a process of gradually investing in advanced technology for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
