Cape police sought suspect facing a rape charge

Cape Town police are asking the public to help find a man believed to be in his 20s after raping a woman.

‘’On 29 June 2021 the suspect approached the 19-year-old victim in Delft Main Road and sexually assaulted her during an attempted robbery,’’ said police colonel Andrè Traut.

‘’The suspect is in his twenties with no front upper teeth, 1.67 m tall and of medium built. He was wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit pants and running shoes and was carrying a brown backpack,’’ Traut added.
