City`s Spokesperson Wilfred Solomons-Johannes says they plan to raise the floor levels of some of the areas by bringing more sand.

He added that the Emergency Teams will remain on high alert.

The Acting Mayor of Cape Town Ian Neilson visited the residents of Masincedane today and handed out parcels of food and blankets.

He said that the city is doing all it can to help those in need.
