Keeping youth off the streets

The Western Cape Social Development is using a unique scheme to keep the youth off the streets. 

The Two Oceans Youth Academy rewards children in the form of prizes and learning aids who have a perfect attendance records and good results. 

MEC for Social Development in the Province, Albert Fritz says they are using hip-hop, dance and sport as preventative programs to curb youth from involving in drugs and violence.  

Adding that it will teach them better ways to lead their lives.
