Residents of Nyanga in Cape Town have feared for their lives following the attack of a 16-year-old in the area.
16-year-old Lutho Babi was attacked with a panga and was bashed with rocks.
The police’s November Filander said Babi was walking home early on Sunday morning when he was attacked.
Filander said in their investigation they have arrested five suspects aged 18 and 19 for the murder.
He said the motive for the murder is not yet known at this stage but it is being investigated.
