The United Democratic Movement (UDM) has been following the developments in the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry with intense interest.

In the past few months there have been many complaints from various stakeholders about the detachment of the Minister Tina Joemat-Petterson.

Spokesperson for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for the UDM Lennox Gaehler said they call on the Minister to deepen her consultation with various agricultural associations.

He added that they also call on the minister to take the nation and the relevant agricultural industry associations into her confidence.
