The National Prosecuting Authority has promised to soon provide the Democratic Alliance with a summary of the record relating to its decision to drop corruption charges against President Jacob Zuma.

This comes after the DA announced that they will go back to court in order to compel the NPA to provide documentation to them regarding the case.

The DA leader Helen Zille said that they are lodging an application with the North Gauteng High Court to force the NPA to comply with the Supreme Court of Appeal’s order to provide the records.

NPA Spokesperson Mthunzi Mhaga says they have not ignored an order by the Supreme Court of Appeal to provide the DA with the details.

Mhaga said that the process takes longer to finalise.
