Traffic authorities have confirmed that all major routes have been opened again to traffic.
The past weekend, severe weather conditions have caused some roads to be closed in the Free State, Eastern Cape and Western Cape.
The Road Traffic Management’s Ashraf Ismail said they can confirm that the N1 and N12 from Beaufort West to Three Rivers and Beaufort West to Victoria West are open to traffic, in both directions of north and south.
He added that the N6 between Jamestown and Queenstown, the road has been re-opened in the Eastern Cape.
Roads still remain slippery and wet and drivers are asked to drive with extreme caution.
