A Gugulethu Constable was arretsed on Friday on charges of rape.
The 32 year-old is alleged to have raped a sex worker in Parow on the 27 of July.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate Spokesperson Moses Dlamini said that other sex workers have come forward with other claims of sexual assault against the constable.
The Constable is also alleged to have robbed her of R170 after the rape incident.
Dlamini said that there is a possibility that other charges will be added after an identification parade.
The suspect will appear at the Parow Magistrate Court today.
