Hilary Clinton:The youth should honor Nelson Mandela

United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says South Africa's next generation of leaders should honour the legacy of former president Nelson Mandela.

She said they should do this by promoting democratic values around the world.

She called on South Africa to use long-standing links with Tehran to persuade Iran to reconsider its suspected pursuit of nuclear weapons.

Clinton told university students in Cape Town today that few countries on the continent carry as much weight as South Africa does.
