Millions spent during Boeremag trail

The Legal Aid Board has confirmed that 33-point-five-million-rand has been spent on the 9 year Boeremag trail.
Board spokesperson Mpho Phasha says this amount only takes into account the legal costs of the 16 advocates who have been involved in the case.
He explained why the defence of the 20 accused of treason, terrorism and countless other charges has cost so much.
He said they followed the legal aid guide.
