Political parties gathered at parliament to discuss Lonmin massacre

Political parties all met in a special Parliamentary session today to discuss last week’s Lonmin mine tragedy in the North West province where 44 people died and 259 protesting mine workers were arrested.
DA Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko called on Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa, leaders of the two unions at Lonmin and the CEO of the Lonmin mine to resign.
She says the DA is concerned that no one seems to be taking political responsibility for the massacre.
Meanwhile Julius Malema has opened a case against on the murder of the mineworkers
