The Western Cape Department of Health today was accused of wasting money.
This is after the department destroyed 3.4million Rand in expired medication.
The department defended the accusations , saying the medication destroyed was damaged in storage.
National Health Allied Workers Union spokesperson Pamla said the destroying of medication should be questioned at a national level.
