18 year-old male missing after canoe capsizes

 An 18-year-old man is missing after his canoe capsized on the Breede River in Witsand, near Mossel Bay.

The National Sea Rescue Institute Craig Lambinon they have received reports that three 18-year-old men had been about 26km upstream from the river mouth when their canoe capsized.

Two of the men managed to get to safety, despite the river being swollen from recent rainfall, but the third teenager was missing.

One of the 18 year-old male teenagers had reportedly gone missing after their boat canoe overtuned

Lambinon added that a seach continues for the missing teenager.
