The African National Congress Youth League in the Western Cape today said it is disgusted by human waste which was flung at Premier Helen Zille’s convey in Khayelitsha.

Zille was in Khayelitsha to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the launch of the provincial governments green campaign.

Khaya Yozi, ANC Youth League provincial election co-ordinator and Dullah Omar region chairman said members of the ANC Youth League members that were involved will face disciplinary action.

Yozi said that those are just unruly individuals that have conducted and displayed bad behaviour and as the ANC Youth League they do realise that their members are involved.

“We just had a press conference, where we were announcing that we are going to conduct an investigation and if our members are found to be involved they will be dealt with through the disciplinary process by the organisation,” said Yozi.

Furthermore he adds that they distance themselves from that incident and said that the ANC Youth League is not involved in such activities.
