The Democratic Alliance today said it will be contributing financially to the Opposition to Urban Toiling Alliance’s bid to fight e-tolls.
Outa has been involved in a lengthy legal battle with the South African National Roads Agency Limited over the decision to implement e-tolling in Gauteng .
Meanwhile Sanral’s Spokesperson Vusi Mona said e-tolls will go ahead regardless.
DA Spokesperson in the Leaders office Cameron Arendse said the party will give Outa R1 million to fund for their court battles.
Arends further said the DA will do whatever it can to mobilise citizens against e-tolls in Gauteng and other provinces.
He added that this is in response to the Outa`s call for funding in their fighting against in e-tolls and the DA is committed in fighting the e-tolls.
