A man has been arrested by the Hawks this morning at a house in Crown Gardens, Johannesburg for being in possession of drugs worth R48 million.

Hawks Spokesperson Paul Ramaloko said they found 40 kilograms of heroin at the houses belonging to a Pakistani national.

Ramaloko said the man is believed to be part of an international group bringing and supplying drugs into South Africa.
