Seven suspects arrested for mob attack

Southern Cape Police arrested seven suspects aged between 22 and 38-years-old who are believed to be involved in a mob justice attack in Still Bay. 

The attack took place at the victim’s home in Melkhoutfontein on Sunday night. 

Captain Bernadine Steyn said the suspects accused the victim of theft and beat him up, resulting in him dying on the way to the hospital.

Steyn added that the suspects will appear in court on Wednesday.
