NEASA warns of a possible strike in Metal and Engineering Industry

The National Employers Association of South Africa said after three rounds of negotiations parties in the Metal and Engineering Industry have reached a deadlock. 

The Metal and Engineering Indystry have become completely uncompetitive resulting in the loss of more than 250 000 jobs over the last five years. 

National Employers Association Spokesperson Sya van der Walt-Potgieter said at this stage it looks like there is going to be a strike in July.

She said they will keep the members informed and try the best to ensure that it does end to a strike the matter is resolved soon.
