Convicted drug lord Glenn Agliotti says slain mining magnate Brett Kebble had trial runs to practise his assisted suicide.
Agliotti is set to go on trial next year for Kebble's 2006 murder in Johannesburg.
He says in a video shown in the South Gauteng High Court today that Kebble’s financial problems led him to plan, practice and pray over his own murder.
In the recording, Agliotti talks to police and National Intelligence Agency representatives about the investigation into former police commissioner Jackie Selebi, who Agliotti denies bribing.
The video has provisionally been admitted as evidence in Selebi's corruption trial.
