Four painters were injured yesterday when the scaffolding they were working on, collapsed at a block of flats in Stellenbosch.
It is estimated that the painters fell about six metres to the ground below.
One patient was in a critical condition and advanced life support treatment was initiated on the scene. The three other patients sustained moderate injuries.
All the patients were taken by ER24 and Metro EMS ambulances to Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic for further treatment.
