A memorial service for a man that collapsed in the passage way in Portland, Mitchell's Plain will be held, on Thursday evening.
The mother of Luke Seconna, has appealed to the community
not to speculate the cause of her son's death.
According to reports, the 20-year-old man was found in the passage way, near Quicktrip Bakery in Portland, last Friday.
The police’s FC van Wyk said, at the time, officers found
the body at around 7a.m.
‘’On 2023-01-05 at about 07:00, the body of the 20-year-old
victim was found in the passage way, in Portlands, Mitchells
Plain. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
An inquest was opened for investigation,’’ said Captain F.C Van Wyk
Luke's mother, Chantal, urged the public not to share unverified information. The family has asked for privacy as they mourn the 20-year-old.
The memorial service is set to take place at the Portland High School Hall, situated on Morgenster Road & Merrydale Avenue, at 7p.m
