Domestic violence becoming a trend

The Minister of Women, Children and People with Disabilities Lulu Xingwana has expressed her sadness at the death of a community builder and human rights activist, Agnes Ramagoshi.

Xingwana expressed serious concern at the rising trend of domestic violence and women abuse. 

Department spokesperson Cornelius Monama said statistics show that cases involving women and children abuse has increased by roughly five percent.

He further said that they hope to get continued support from ordinary citizens and official in fighting the abuse of both children and women in our country.
