The City of Cape Town has over-hauled a multimillion rand security tender.

In March the city cancelled a R350 million security tender awarded to 22 companies.

The city was accused of fraud and corruption.

Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee Member for Finance Ian Neilson said the cancellation of the tenders was not because of fraud and corruption.
