The City of Cape Town has issued a warning to residents in the Hout Bay area of a disruption in the water supply.

The Water and Sanitation Department will be doing emergency repairs on the main water supply.

The work involves the replacements of a defective clean valve which is leaking excessively resulting in water loss in the transportation system.

The Departments Farouk Robertson says the Hout Bay harbour and Hout Bay height will be affected .
