The Democratic Alliance said about 100 people have to share 3 dirty toilets per street which are emptied and cleaned every two weeks in Zone 11 Meadowlands Hostel.

The DA discovered this when they visited the area this week.

Meanwhile the party’s Spokesperson for Cooperative Governance James Masango said they will be requesting the Human Rights Commission to investigate rights violations of residents of Mandela Section outside Delmas.

DA National Spokesperson Mmusi Maimane said it is clear service is failing, it become important to them to write to the South African Human Rights council in order for this matter to be investigated.
