African National Blood Service says it needs at least 3,000 units of blood
every day.
This amount of blood will help save lives and sustain its services this festive season.
SANB says hospitals are at risk of experiencing blood shortages during this period because of the number of road accidents.
SANB urges all citizens to donate blood increasing the chance of a life being saved.
